Wizards of the Coast continues their 50th anniversary celebration of Dungeons & Dragons. A cozy life sim has been announced. A Lego set has been announced. Even a theatrical production is happening. Now there is the Dungeons & Dragons Stumble Guys crossover, which will introduce iconic elements from the TTRPG into the battle royale.

The Dungeons & Dragons Stumble Guys crossover announcement

According to an official press release, the Dungeons & Dragons Stumble Guys crossover will be a free content update. Stumble Guys is a free-to-play battle royale game on mobile, Xbox, and PC similar to Devolver Digital's Fall Guys. Players participate in elaborate game show challenges until one is crowned the winner.

Alright everyone, roll for initiative.

The new update will add the following to Stumble Guys. First is a fresh player archetype system based on D&D classes. Players can choose between Fighter, Rogue, Cleric, and Wizard classes. Each is equipped with unique abilities for navigating and interacting with new courses in distinct ways.

In addition, the Dungeons & Dragons Stumble Guys crossover update will introduce two courses. These courses will be based on D&D's Forgotten Realms setting, the same world used in Larian Studios' award-winning Baldur's Gate 3.

These courses offer a story-driven adventure. Players must overcome an epic elimination course packed with iconic monsters like slimes, beholders, and dragons, which leads into a new racing map.

“As we continue to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Dungeons & Dragons, our latest collaboration introduces 'Stumble Guys' players to a realm of unparalleled adventure and fantasy. This integration brings the rich, storied universe of D&D to life in a new format, capturing the camaraderie and fun that has enthralled fans for decades," said Eugene Evans, SVP Digital Strategy & Licensing. "We continue to explore how to celebrate D&D and bring Hasbro brands to life. The dynamic and engaging gameplay of 'Stumble Guys' is another fun way we are offering millions the chance to explore Hasbro’s cherished universes like never before.”

The Dungeons & Dragons Stumble Guys crossover is the third time the battle royale has collaborated with a Hasbro property. Prior collaborations have included Nerf and Monopoly. This brand-new content update is live right now.
