The final big reveal for the Nintendo Indie World March 2020 showcase was a nice surprise for those of you stuck at home right now: Exit the Gungeon is launching on the Nintendo Switch later today on March 17, 2020.

Get hype for the Exit the Gungeon Nintendo Switch and Steam release with this shiny new trailer:

If you're unfamiliar with Exit the Gungeon, it's a sequel of sorts to Enter the Gungeon, a dungeon-crawling roguelike with a firearms theme. Players wield guns, fight guns, and face off against all kinds of bullet-based enemies in this colorful and challenging experience. Exit the Gungeon, conversely, has you escaping the titular dungeon through deadly elevators and tunnels, featuring new gameplay challenges and enough weapons to conquer a small Latin American nation.

Now, the Nintendo Indie World March 2020 showcase has closed out with a super-cool announcement — the Exit the Gungeon Nintendo Switch launch is happening very soon. And by "very soon", I mean later today.

When will Other Platforms Follow the Exit the Gungeon Nintendo Switch Launch?

At the time of writing, Exit the Gungeon is only available for Apple Arcade, but that will change with its Nintendo Switch launch later today. One thing we don't yet know is whether or not it will be coming to the PS4 and Xbox One. Enter the Gungeon is on both of those platforms, so it's probably safe to say that Exit the Gungeon will be making its way there soon.

If you're not too keen on grabbing Exit the Gungeon for the Nintendo Switch today, you can opt instead to grab it on Steam later today for $9.99 or your regional equivalent. The Steam version will also include brand-new content!
