Quantum Error

Today Teamkill Media announced that its cosmic horror game Quantum Error has gone gold.

The developer was made on X (formerly Twitter). If you're unfamiliar with what it means in industry lingo, the game's release build is now ready, excluding a possible day-one update.

Teamkill media also promised that a trailer and the release date are coming soon. Of course, we'll keep you posted here on TechRaptor as soon as the official announcement is made.

At the moment, the game will be released only for PS5. A Xbox Series X|S and PC versions are also planned, but we don't have any information on when they will come. Recently, the developer has scrapped the PS4 version (the game was originally announced for PS5 and PS4 a few years ago), as it would require too much downgrading in order to even work.

If you'd like to see more, you can enjoy the most recent and extensive gameplay released a few days ago, a previous gameplay traileranother teasing an environment from the gameone showing a cinematic from the beginning of the storyone showcasing the fact that you can play in third-person despite the game being technically an FPS, and one showing another cinematic cutscene

The game has been created in Unreal Engine 5 by a small team based in Kalispell, MT, founded by four brothers in 2016. If the name Teamkill Media doesn't ring a bell, they previously released Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris in 2019.
