Today developer Teamkill Media released brand-new gameplay of its "cosmic horror" game Quantum Error.

We get to see combat and exploration in a suitably frozen base on Neptune, infested by all sorts of horrible monsters. Luckily, it appears that we have all sorts of guns and weapons to take them on, and the video shows many in action.

A second video, set in the Quantum Gravity Research Floor of an eerie facility is even more extensive, for a total of about 20 minutes of gameplay to enjoy.

You can watch both videos below.

Quantum Error doesn't yet have a release date just yet, but it should come this year for PS5, with Xbox Series X|S and PC ports also planned. If you'd like to see more, you can enjoy a previous gameplay traileranother teasing a recently-revealed environmentone showing a cinematic from the beginning of the game, one showcasing the fact that you can play in third-person despite the game being technically an FPS, and one showing a cinematic cutscene

The game is a first-person shooter (but as mentioned above, it can be played partly in third-person) and it was originally announced for PS5 and PS4 in early 2020. The platforms have since been expanded to include Xbox Series X and S. Recently, the developers mentioned that they'll be porting the game to PC as well at some point. It's developed in Unreal Engine 5 by a small team based in Kalispell, MT, founded by four brothers in 2016. The team previously released Kings of Lorn: The Fall of Ebris in 2019.
